Curlies have curly hair coats (like a poodle), including curly ear and fetlock hair year-round. Many people allergic to straight horses are not allergic to Curlies.
The North American Curly horse is usually somewhere around 14.2 hands tall.
Curlies come in all types, from pony to sporthorse, and some are gaited.
Very quiet and affectionate.

Curlies were found in the wild horse herds in the U.S. and some Native American herds.
